A paediatric specialist with special interest in neurology, Dr. Maha graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum, Sudan. She finished her internship in medicine, paediatric, obstetrics, surgery and orthopaedics. She obtained a Master’s degree in Paediatric and Child Health in Sudan Medical Specialization Board in 2012, and was awarded the membership of the Royal College of Paediatric and Child Health (UK).
Dr. Maha has extensive paediatric experience and has worked in tertiary children’s hospitals and busy emergency departments in Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Dr. Maha completed the Paediatrics Epilepsy Training Course (PET1, 2 & 3), from the British Paediatrics Neurology Association. Prior to joining Al Jalila Children’s, she worked as a paediatric specialist in the neurology department in Suba University Hospital, one of the leading hospitals in Sudan.
