Dr. Suresh graduated from Kasturba Medical College Mangalore, India, and then went on to complete his post-graduation in Anesthesiology. He did his sub-speciality training in Cardiac Anesthesiology at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, and the National Heart Institute, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Before joining Al Jalila Children’s, Dr. Suresh was Paediatric Cardiac Anaesthetist and Intensivist at the Department of Paediatric Cardiac Surgery in Hamad General Hospital, Doha, Qatar.
