Auditory Rehabilitation

Auditory rehabilitation is the process of learning to hear with a hearing device/implant to make the most of a child’s use of hearing as the main sense for developing spoken language. Even though the child enters the world of sounds through the activation of hearing devices or implants, he/she may take time to utilize this new experience.

Auditory Verbal therapy is a highly specialized early intervention programme which stimulates auditory development of the brain. Such regular play-based sessions involving parents enables the children to make sense of the sound relayed by their hearing devices and thereby makes listening a natural exercise.
